Since that’s the case, I’m not gonna bore you with mindless filler. Gabor’s got four more panels of his graphic novel rendition of The Contortionist’s Handbook here for the viewing. Spread the word and I’ll be back in a couple of weeks with more.

That’s from the back jacket copy of Sob Mil Disfarces, the recently released Brazilian Portugese version of The Handbook. The title translates roughly as, “Under a Thousand Disguises.” I guess the contortionist metaphor is too much of a stretch for some languages.
Contortionist. Stretch. Did you catch that? Fuck noir, I’m gonna write comedy.
For those of you familiar with Dope author Sara Gran (and even for those of you who aren’t), I interviewed her for Beatrice, and the piece is live. The original was slightly longer than what was posted, so perhaps I’ll publish some of the unused portions here at a later date. Sara’s returned the favor with some kind words over her own blog, as she contemplates the blurry distinction between crime fiction and mainstream literature.
Lastly, the newest four panels of The Handbook are here, so check ‘em out, preferably at work, and spread the word.
Stay warm and bound,
-Craig
